St. Francis of Assisi embraced the Mother of our Lord Jesus with great love and devotion. We will discover his reasoning behind his deep devotion toward her and her impact on the Franciscan Orders and the world. Franics acknowledged the Blessed Mother's unique position in salvation history given by God: She is the daughter of the Father, the mother of the Son and the spouse of the Holy Spirit. We gather together to understand Francis' reverence and love of Mary and how we too can imitate him in our love for her in our modern world.
