All are welcome to join us to settle into the season with gratitude as we give thanks for all the many blessings in our lives. Our presenter Dawn Marie guides us into winding down the year
with Catholic-Christian based movement meditation as we quiet our mind to be open to the Holy Spirit and bring relaxation and renewal to our body mind and spirit.
With mindful breathe we relax tension with some gentle stretching while seated in our chair, no mat required, open to all levels.
We acknowledge our blessings and see how God has been a constant throughout the year in our lives. We focus on bringing in the light and dispelling darkness in todays world. We take these quiet holy moments to pray, acknowledge our experiences, and release our tension with gratitude. We will explore a scripture reading with lectio divina. Dress comfortably to move in the chair.
No materials needed unless you want to bring your gratitude journal with you to take notes and bringing a favorite mug is optional to this fill your cup for tea or coffee provided but it must be a mug that brings you joy and gratitude.
Meet Our Speaker
Dawn Marie has been teaching moving meditation for over twenty years, and employers include both Advent health and YMCA.
She is certified in group fitness and is an active instructor. She has hosted movement classes for Orange County television and has been a featured speaker at community events on fitness. She has been a member of the Orlando diocese for over forty years and is a Central Florida area college alumni. In her spare time she serves as a lector at Mass and a Sunday school Catechist at her church. She enjoys PIETRA fitness and has lead spiritual movement classes at Woman’s Catholic Church group in area. She enjoys inspiring others to be healthy in body and mind. She enjoys travel with her family and is blessed she recently got to travel to the Vatican.
