Spiritual Rx for Stress and Anxiety Weekend Retreat

Spiritual Rx for Stress and Anxiety
September 18-20, 2020

We all have stress. If it is not managed, it can lead to a crippling anxiety, blocking us from experiencing joy and vitality in everyday life. This retreat offers both spiritual and practical tools for managing stress and anxiety, opening us to God’s freedom and a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Check-in starts on Friday at 4pm. The retreat begins with a 5:30pm dinner and concludes with 10am Sunday Mass. Throughout the weekend there will be talks, Mass, Eucharistic Adoration and great community time as well as personal prayer & reflection time, Confession, recreation and more.

As part of the retreat experience we will have licensed mental health therapists on site. You will have the opportunity to listen to and speak to these therapists throughout the weekend. Though these individuals are licensed with the state of Florida, formal counseling will not be a part of the retreat experience. Upon arrival, you will sign a form confirming you understand that these conversations do not take the place of clinical counseling, are purely consultative, and you will seek out professional counseling if needed.

This year, we’re offering more flexible options for participation. Join us for the whole weekend (double rooms only available to members coming from the same household), or commute during the three day retreat. At San Pedro, we are practicing social distancing and regularly cleaning all surfaces. Please bring your own face covering for use indoors.

Meet the speakers that will be offering both spiritual and practical tools on this retreat:
