Recognizing Your “Pot Of Gold”
with Heidi Peckham
How are you going to find your “pot of gold” when you can’t see the rainbow without your glasses? As we age, it is so easy to become afraid; afraid of falling, afraid of getting sick, afraid of out-living your money. Life for a “senior” is scary. The coping skills that worked for us in our younger years fail us now, and we may not be sure what to do. Sometimes we need more than just prayers, we need some direction as we continue our journey of faith and life.
Come and laugh and learn with Ms. Heidi Peckham, LMHC, as she shares some tips and secrets to finding that “pot of gold” and enjoying the “golden years.”
Coffee and danish served at 9:00am. Program begins at 9:30am followed by lunch. Mass ends the day!
Heidi Peckham is the former Secretary for Pastoral Ministries and Director of Family Life for the Diocese of Orlando. Ms. Peckham has been a student of the Catholic faith for more than 50 years and has participated in every aspect of parish life, (except the choir for good reason). She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has had many different titles for three different Bishops in her 10 years of service to our Diocese.
Heidi’s knowledge of our Catholic faith and traditions, combined with her clinical knowledge and experience of raising four wonderful adults, makes all her presentations both informative and affirming. Her presentation style and good humor makes for easy listening and learning. Bring your notebook, your sense of humor and other senior neighbors for a surprisingly good time!
