Before you launch into another busy year takes some time out for reflection, prayer and quiet. Fr. Ben Berinti, our newest staff member at San Pedro, is offering a retreat the weekend of Sept 12-14 “Gathering the Fragments: Enough for the Journey Home”. On Sept. 17 Fr. Patrick Quinn will lead a Marian day of reflection; and on Sept. 26-28, the Franciscan Friars will offer a Franciscan Retreat on the way of St. Francis.  Details and registration is under programs on our Web-site.

Traditionally, prayer beads are used to keep count of the repetitions of prayers. Using prayer beads allows you to concentrate on your prayer rather than concentrating on how many times you have said the prayer. Prayer beads come in all shapes, styles, and forms. What is great about prayer beads is that they can be unique to you.

Tangible objects are reminder of God’s presence. As human beings we have a desire to communicate with God. Join us on July 23, 2008 at San Pedro Center to create your own personal payer bead.
